I started the Horizons series about 9 or so months ago. I had just picked up the Canon 7d and wanted to really work the camera in manual so I started shooting the landscapes in vertical. After getting a few goods ones I almost moved on but decided the better challenge was to try and get at least one good Horizon each day. Alot of times 2 or 3. Now its like an addiction! Ha! I have alot from fall and about 80 nice ones from winter, all in the same style. Right now we are in the drab, muddy transition here in Wisconsin which is giving me time to get this site and MyHorizonArt.com up and running. Ofcoarse I have to resize everything when I would rather be out in the field shooting. Thanks for the nice comment and there are alot more to come, and ofcoarse spring and summer Horizons!
