Phil, I really like the color pallet in this photo. I like the angle and the way you captured the wave exploding against the rocks and then the sun shining through the water spray creates a very dramatic image. The darks of the rocks and playing of the reflection there lead into the lights in the water droplets that eventually including the sun setting up a great pathway into the photo. Nicely taken and presented as I'm seeing it on my screen. Two thumbs up!! as they say in my critiquing world. Cheers!! Lucien

I created the series of Horizons in 2010 as photographic journey through the landscapes of Wisconsin. I rarely shoot in the same location as the sun rises and find the meadows that most just drive by without a second thought as the best place to wait and watch.
